Jotform Sign: Submitted details are getting cut off

We just started using the forms and notice the responses on short text end in ...... vs showing what was typed. How do we fix that?? it just happened with our cancellation forms.

I see that there is a field where there is an answer too long which gets truncated with an ellipsis.

The limit for this element is based on its height. So what you can do is expand its height if you are expecting users to fill in more than just a single short sentence. '

You may also utilize the character limit features for the short text field so that users won't be filling up too much or at the best that they can, condense their answers to be shorter. Here's how:

1. Edit your Sign document and click the Properties button
2. On the right panel, go to Options
3. Enable Character Limit and set your limits

Unfortunately, as to the already submitted documents, there is no remedy for this since the previously submitted documents are already locked away from possible editing in preserving the integrity and legal enforcement of the documents. So you will need your form user to fill up again the form with your edited Sign document template.
