Need advice on efficient data collection between form and table

    Hi,

We are using a form to get feedback after an event. When I did this same event last year, the data we collected in the Participant Feedback form was very hard to see in an effective way when I pushed it into a table. I think it had something to do with the way the questions in the forms were set up. Is there someone I could talk to to better explain the problem rather than trying to write it out?

Here's an example: I used an input table to have the participants rate their Thursday night class. Each participant took only one of the classes offered that night.

The next question was :Need advice on efficient data collection between form and table Image 2 Screenshot 41

When the data pushed out into a table, there was no way to correlate the comments to the class they went to. Is there a better way to create the QUESTIONS so that the data is more easily correlated and more meaningful? If we can do it with this one, I can apply the fix to other similar questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi hcemidatlantic,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that we don’t currently offer live phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread, or you can create a forum thread from the Contact Us page. We’ll be happy to help.

Now, going back to your questions, you can try our Dropdown List where you can provide possible insights or comments about their experiences in a particular class they attended and add Other so that they can put other comment not listed in the dropdown. And if you need to see your results in an easy-to-understand report, Jotform helps you not just to collect data from people but also allows you to view it in a variety of ways. We have here our guide about How to Create Form Reports in Jotform that you can check out for more information.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
