I am trying to create an app that I can break down in different states and within each state there will be trails that I can rate and also have others rate and/or comment on. can someone assist with this and is it possible that it can be done?

    Hi Russ,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you trying to create an app similar to the one below?

If so, you can create a form first, and then convert it into an app. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on the Create Form button in the upper left corner of the page.
    2. Then, select Start From Scratch, and select Classic Form. Question about Jotform App capabilities Screenshot 61
    3. Next, add the elements that you need from the left panel menu.Question about Jotform App capabilities Screenshot 72
    4. Finally, click on Publish from the navigation bar, and click on the Create App button to convert it into an app. Question about Jotform App capabilities Screenshot 83

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

That is kind of the beginning of what I am trying to do yes I think.

i see how I think i can add all the states. but then i would need like a sub category below the states to be able to rate the different trails associated within the state. Is that possible?

so they would have to click on the state first, and then a sub category of different trails they can pick from and then rate the trail from there

    Hi Russ,

If you want to be able to select a sub-category, you can use the Dynamic Dropdown Widget. Check out this screencast below:

This is very helpful and pretty much what I was looking for.

Is there a way that I can have my rating as always showing and then have peoples reviews showing the average rating at all?

    So something like

    Active Runner Rating : 4.8

    Overall Rating: ?
