Sorry for all the questions. Maybe I can stepback and tell you what I am trying to accomplish and you can advise.

I have a form that I integrate with Airtable as part of a large project. I need a certain field to be in all CAPS when it sends it to Airtable.

I have tried this in a couple of different ways but they don't seem to work:

    1. First I tried CSS that does make it appear to be uppercase even if they type in lowercase. However, when it sends that field to airtable, it is still in lowercase.
    2. I then tried to create a formula field in the Jotform table that converts the field to uppercase. However, it seems that the formula field is NOT available when I go to integrate to AirTable.

Is there a way to pass an uppercase version of a field (whether the user types in upper or lower case) to Airtable?

The sample form is https://eu.jotform.com/build/241664859789076 if you want to see it.

    Hi Katherine,

I've looked over the possibility of forcing form submission data to be in uppercase when sent to Airtable by integrating a form with Airtable via third-party apps like Zapier and Make.com but it's not really possible.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any other questions.
