How to set-up one form submission per email address?

    The unique field dropdown doesn't allow me to select email address?

    Hi Noelhutchinson,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form to check why the field is not populating. I was able to see that you used a widget for the email field. The workaround that I did was to add an email field before the email verification so that you can use it for the unique field settings. If that would work for you, please check my cloned form. The form would look like :

    After adding the email field. I turned on the unique field option by:

    1. In Form Builder, go to the Settings tab.
    2. Click the Show More Options button.
    3. You’ll have to scroll down and find the Unique Field option.
    4. Select your preferred option from the dropdown, and that’s it! The form builder automatically saves the changes.

    I also tested it on my cloned form. The second submission with the same email used gave me an error.

    Thanks for your patience. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it.
