Is there a way to justify the text in a field in a PDF (SmartPDF form) to be centered (not in the form itself, but in the output)?

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm having trouble fully understanding your concern. For us to assist you better, can you take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that.

When you add a new field to your online form, the corresponding PDF fields appear as green boxes at the top of the original PDF. You can change the location of these fields by dragging them where you want them to be. You can also resize them.

We have a guide about How to Link Your Online Form Fields with PDF Through Smart PDF Forms that you can check out.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Sorry not in front of a computer right now but this is what I’m looking at:

“When you add a new field to your online form, the corresponding PDF fields appear as green boxes at the top of the original PDF. You can change the location of these fields by dragging them where you want them to be. You can also resize them.”

The data in the green boxes are always justified left. I’m putting data into a table so I’m wondering if the data can be centered inside the green box? Does that make sense?

    Hi Joe,

It seems you want the text alignment to be centered. Let me show you how to change it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, and click the dropdown arrow beside the Smart PDF Forms.
    2. Select PDF Editor on the Menu.

I don't think that works. Here's the specific example - the output responses need to be centered (test, 1, 123456..)

    Is this possible?

    Hi Joe,

I cloned your form and I see that you followed my colleague's suggestion to change the text alignment to center. I see that it is working as expected. Take a look at the screenshot below:

Can you reload your form and try it again and see how it goes?
