Is there a way to have an element autofill based on the answer of a different element?

    If I have 2 multiple choice questions, can I have the second one autofill depending on the first response?

    Hi Kaylee,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, it's possible to do that by creating a condition on your form. It's very easy, let me show you an example:

    This is my example form. My idea is that if the user chooses the color Blue in the first question, question number 2 should be auto-filled You are right. Now, if the user chooses red, the question number 2 should be You are wrong.

    Let me show you how we can do that by creating a condition on the form. Let's do it:

    1. Click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of Form Builder.
    2. Select Conditions on the left side of the screen.
    3. Click +Add a New Condition.

    • Select Update/Calculate Field and then set the conditions just like you see below for the Blue option:
