    Hello,

To create a workflow where a form is filled out sequentially by a teacher, supervisor, and principal, with a final PDF sent to HR, you can use a form builder with workflow automation features. Enable entry link sharing to send view or edit links after submission, and set up conditions to control the flow of the form between the parties. After the principal’s submission, configure the form to generate and send a PDF to HR. For detailed setup, refer to the documentation of the form tool you’re using.

    Hi lotuspetalwss,

We can utilize the Approval Workflow to send an approval request email with the edit link so they (Supervisor and Principal) can edit the form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Approval Flows on the left side of the screen.
    3. On the middle part of the page, click on Create Approval Flow.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 1 Screenshot 90
    4. A basic Approval Workflow will be created. Since we'll create a different flow, delete all elements except the form at the top. Click on the element and click on the trash icon to delete.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 2 Screenshot 101
    5. On the top left, click on Add Element.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 3 Screenshot 112
    6. Add two Approval elements for Supervisor and Principal
    7. Add a PDF element for HR.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 4 Screenshot 123
    8. We are now ready to configure the Approval element. Click on the Approval element and click on the gear icon on the right side.
    9. On the right panel, set the Approver to the Supervisor's email field and Principal's email field for the 2nd approval element. Click on Form Field to bring up the email field.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 5 Screenshot 134
    10. Scroll down a little bit and click on Edit Email.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 6 Screenshot 145
    11. On the email template and the blue navigation bar, click on Form Fields.
    12. Select Edit Link on the options below.
    13. Finally, click on the green Save Button.Hierarchy of editing the form through Approval Workflow Image 7 Screenshot 156

For the PDF element, you can set the recipient (HR) by clicking the PDF element and gear icon on the right side. Then you can select the PDF document to be sent:
