Sign automation: How to send the sign document URL to the Google Sheet integration?

    Hi,

I have a form that collects multiple pieces of data and fills a PDF with some of this information. I'm using the available integration to send the submitted data to a Google Sheet. However, while all the data is being sent to the Google Sheet, the link to the filled PDF is not included. I can see the link to the filled PDF in the Table inside Jotform, but it does not appear in the Google Sheet.

How can I include the PDF link in the information sent to the Google Sheet?

    Thanks,

    Hi Juan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.I understand the issue, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.

    Hi Juan,

I reviewed your form and noticed that you have included a signature element and activated Sign Automation to send the completed signed document to your email. I understand that you would like to send the document URL to Google Sheets. Unfortunately, the specific feature you are looking for is currently not available. This feature is only available for Signed Documents created using Sign Builder.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Thanks for your help, Sidharth.

Could you provide another alternative to share the signed document (filled pdf) with other team members. I tried sharing the Jotform Table, but it didn't show the signed document to other guests.

    Hi Juan,

If I understand you correctly, you want to share the Signed Document to an user who is not one of the signers, is that correct? If yes, you can enter the recipient's email address as a CC Recipient, so they can get a copy of your email invitation message, as well as an email once everyone has already signed. Take a look at the screenshot below to see how the first email that they will receive looks like:

Once everyone has signed the document, he'll receive another email, similar to the one in the screenshot below:

If this is what you want, here's how to do that:

    1. In Sign Builder, click on Send in the green navigation bar at the top part of the page.

    2. Now, click Send to Sign on the left side of your screen.

    3. Next, click on the Options tab.

    4. Enter the user's email address into the CC Recipients field.

As another workaround to share a Signed Document to a non-signer is to download the documents after they're successfully signed by everyone, then manually send them by email or another platform. Here's how to do that:

1.In Sign builder, click on the Send tab in the green navigation bar.

    2. Now, click on Send to Sign on the left side of your screen.

    3. Next, click on the Arrow icon that says Track in the upper-right corner of the send documents field.

    4. Now, in Sign Inbox, click on the Download Signed Document button in the upper-right corner, and select if you'd like to download it as a Signed Document only, or as a Signed Document with Audit Trail.
