also, is there a way to enable this on the form, where a notification pops up to the user if they select a date within a few days from the current date?

    Hello Dan,

Yes, we can show a message and prevent the user from submitting the form if the date selected is a few days from the current date. Let me show you how:

    1. Using a paragraph field, add an error message if the condition we will create is not met. How to Show a Messages For Selected Date on Short Notice? Image 1 Screenshot 40
    2. Create a condition that if the calculation we created initially is less than 3, then it will show the error message. You can also hide the the succeeding fields when the condition is not met.How to Show a Messages For Selected Date on Short Notice? Image 2 Screenshot 51

I applied these changes to my demo form in your initial thread so you can check.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

That worked, with the exception of the blue paragraph field still showing up even when no selection is made in the 2nd question.

    Hi Dan,

Upon checking your form, I noticed that the "Would you like to participate in the Daily On-Site Parade?" field and the display message have not yet been added to your form. Can you please confirm if it is the same form? If not, can you please share with us the Form URL so we can look into it?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    The Form URL is: https://form.jotform.com/241541360206142

I have the conditions that each paragraph field should ONLY show if the answer is "No" to a certain question. If not, it should be hidden (it is a hidden field already).

    Hi Dan,

When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened for me. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. It's really easy to fix. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, select Settings at the top.

    2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.

    3. Click on + Add condition and choose Show/Hide field.

    4. Set condition as below picture:

Additionally, you'll have to set the Clear hidden fields to clear when hidden. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form builder, select Settings at the top.

    2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Form Setting.

    3. Click on Show More Options & Scroll down to Clear Hidden Fields section.

    4. Click on Clear Hidden Fields section and choose Clear When Hidden.

You can check out the demo form. If you want to clone the demo form, you can easily do that. This guide will show you how to do that. We also have a guide about How to Show or Hide Fields Conditionally that you can check out.
