Error when trying to print PDF file

    Having the same issue as this article here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/14156881-getting-error-when-printing-a-pdf

    It appears no resolution had been found. Is there an update to this issue? I've been experiencing it for 2-3 weeks now. Any information is appreciated.

    Hi Karen,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having issues with this and if I understand it correctly, you're having an issue when printing a PDF file. Will you be able to share the PDF file that you're trying to print, and we will try to check if the issue will happen on our end too?

    It would help us too if you can provide the following:

    • Adobe Acrobat build version.
    • What device and it's OS.

    I found a useful link that might help to troubleshoot PDF printing in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader.

    Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

    Adobe Acrobat Reader: Version 2024.002.20759 (64-bit)

    Windows 10 HP Desktop PC

    I tried printing to various printers, same issue occurs. Had our IT folks ensure the latest drivers are installed on my PC. I'm the only user in our organization that uses JotForm so I'm unable to really test this elsewhere other than my PC. It's a sporadic issue that occurs for some, not all, PDFs that are produced within JotForm. Any other information you may need just ask.

    The 'attachments' button is not working to send a .pdf file within the JotForm support form. Any other way I can send you a PDF that isn't working for me?

    Hi Karen,

    You can share the PDF file you're trying to print on any online public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox. At the same time, it would be helpful if you can share with us the following details:

    • The form URL in question
    • A video or screen recording of the issue when printing the PDF file. You can use Loom for that, or share the video link through Google Drive or Dropbox.

    Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
