I currently use jotform to create work orders for technicians in my maintenance department.
We use to create on site the report and then we receive in PDF in our email a work order ready to print and with the integration to excel we can have a good managment of the orders.
I woul like to know if I can schedule the creation of orders in the time.
For example: If I need to change filters every month, automatically every month the system can create an work order for that and we just receive the PDF like we are working on now.
I hope you can help me
regards!

Hi Raul,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understand you correctly, since you are doing work orders manually, you want to know if Jotform can do it for you automatically?
We have a guide about Auto Submit a Form that you can check out.
If that’s not exactly what you need, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hello
I tried but is not what I'm looking for. I would like to create the order and schedule to send maybe the order but every week, or every month automatically.
Like fill out one form for 1 specific task and then that automatically the system can generate the report every time configurated. -

Hi Raul,
I think the best solution is to set a pre-fill for the form and then after that add a Global Countdown Widget. In order to auto-submit your form, you would need to use a Global Countdown Widget. The Global Countdown Widget is a timer for your forms, so that you can set it to weekly and then when the timer is up your form will automatically be submitted by the pre-filled information on it. Let me show you how:
- Open your form in Form Builder, then click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen.
- Now, click on Pre-fill in the menu on the left side of the screen, and then select Form Pre-fill.
- Select the form that you want to pre-fill from, then choose the fields you want to take data from.
- Click on Save Settings, and that’s it.
For more information on how to auto-submit your form, you can check out our guide here.
