HTPS_TechAsked on June 12, 2024 at 12:35 AMAnd I have some suggestions: The columns from the jotform tables don't match to the Excel spreadsheet that I downloaded. As well as the columns in the table not being in the same order as the question on the form. SUPER annoying when you are going through a complicated spreadsheet looking for errors.

Hi HTPS_Tech,
I tested the Download as Excel feature in the submission tables to see if I can replicate the issue but everything seems to be working as expected. The order of the columns in Jotform Tables is the same as on the downloaded Excel file. Please check out the screenshot below for my result:
Can you try it again by using the download button found on Jotform Tables? Let me show you how to do that:
- On Tables page, Hover your mouse over the Download All button on the right side of the page.
- Now, choose Excel format and download your data.
We also have a guide on How to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF that you can check out. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?
Let us know if you need any other help.
- On Tables page, Hover your mouse over the Download All button on the right side of the page.

I already moved the columns to match to form so I can't recreate it. And not all the columns were visible, I had to select some columns to even show up. Even when I downloaded the spreadsheet, those initial hidden columns weren't visible. Just strange and annoying. I don't know why it was acting like that. I don't remember it ever being an issue before but my forms aren't usually so elaborate.

Hi HTPS_Tech,
I've also tested it, but the fields that are hidden are showing in both Jotform Tables and Excel. Check out my results in the screenshots below:
If the same thing happens again, please send us the URL of the form so we can investigate it to see if we can figure out what's going on.
