Hi! I built a quiz and want to add different thank you pages depending upon what the person answers. How can I do that?

Hi Sismotto,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me show you how to add multiple thank you pages depending on the user reply:
1. Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. On the left panel, click on Conditions.
3. Under New Condition, click on the Change Thank You Page.
4. On the next page, set up your condition rules.
In this example form, the conditional logic is as follows:
IF: Qual sua atual área de atuação?
STATE: Is Equal to
VALUE: Advogado
DO: Show Custom Message
5. Once you’re done, select Save at the bottom.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

InboundVisaReplied on June 11, 2024 at 3:15 PMHi!
Thanks! I want the condition to work based on the selection of multiple
answers. It's hard to explain, but with the questions with multiple choices
I want the answer to vary if the person selects 2, 3, 4 answers, etc.
Example:
If person marks 3 or more checkboxes, then X happens
If the person makes 2 or 1 checkbox, then Y happens
Does that make sense?

Hi Sismotto,
Yes, you can add the condition to show them a customized message. For example, if your form fillers choose 3 options in the multiple-choice question, you can show them a particular message on the thank-you page. For example
OR
Here is a guide on how to use the conditional logic in your form; you should go through it.

The issue is that, in this case, if any of these answers is selected, I'll
have the same answer. I wanted to have a combination of them (e.g., if A
and B are selected, then X. If A and C are selected, then Y).
Does that make sense?

Hi Sismotto,
Yes, you can customize that message if your form fillers choose first two option from the multiple choice. For example, I've added the following condition and when I selected the first two options, I was able to see the customized thank you message. Let me share the screenshot and the screencast below:
Results:
You will have to set up the conditions and make the adjustments. We will guide you if the conditions are not working or there is an issue with the process. But, we won't be able to set up the conditions on your behalf.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

InboundVisaReplied on June 11, 2024 at 6:25 PMThanks. I’m not sure if this will work. Here’s the issue: In your screenshot you are saying that “if X happens” and “if y happens” then “result is A”. That’s fine. What I really need is something that says “if x happens” and “if Y happens” or “if X happens” and “if z happens” then “the result is A”. In other words, if need to combine the “all” and the “any”. Rodrigo M. Sismotto+1 (347) 751 2880On 11 Jun 2024, at 17:54, Jotform <noreply@jotform.com> wrote:

Hi Sismotto,
I was thinking of creating multiple Thank you page condition for that, but considering your example, it could result into a conflict, that could mess up the condition. Will it revolve around a specific question, where you'll be expecting multiple target values from it?
It would be great if you can provide us actual inputs/answers in your form, of the flow you have in mind. That'll help us gauge and understand the entire flow, and come up with a proper solution.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Questions 7 and 8 have multiple alternatives. I want to give 2 specific
answers depending on how many of those alternatives are checked. For
instance:
- If person checks 3 or more boxes, then I'd show them "Thank You Page 1"
- If person checks 2 or less boxes, then "Thank You Page 2"
Makes sense?

Hi Sismotto,
I understand you want to direct users to different Thank You Pages based on the number of choices they select. You can do this by assigning calculation values to the multiple-choice field and adding a Form Calculation Widget to tally the total boxes selected. Let me show you how:
First, let's assign calculation values to the multiple-choice field.
- In Form Builder, click the gear icon of the multiple-choice field to open Properties.
- Under the Options tab, toggle the Calculation Values to On.
- Assign 1 to each option.
Then, let's add a Form Calculation Widget to your form.
- Click on the Add Form Element on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, search for the Form Calculation widget and drag and drop it into your form.
- Hide the field, so users won't see the calculation.
4. Now, click on the wand icon.
5. Add the field in the calculation and click Save.
Lastly, set the 2 Thank You Page conditions like you see below:
Check out my screencast below to see my results:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
