Square Integration: Stuck in Fetching Business location.

    Hi there! My client just tried to pay a deposit as well as myself and it's showing the below error. The form is integrated and my settings all look fine. They haven't changed and I take dozens of deposits a year on that form. Please advise ASAP!

    Hi Sklein625,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having trouble with this. When I checked our system, I saw that your Square Integration's Business Location is stuck in Fetching Locations.

    Let me show you how to fix it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Integrated Payment element and the Wand icon.
    2. Then, click on the Connected button, and click on Reconnect.
    3. Finally, click the Connect button, enter your Square account details again if needed, and click Continue.

    So I did the above and now she's getting the same 'payment error II" but it has a bit more info and is attached here. This is getting super frustrating.     I understand how frustrating this can be. I can see that the payment integration is still stuck on fetching locations, as shown below:

    Do you have a different payment form that is also integrated with Square on the same Square account? I want to make sure that this is not an issue with your Square account.

    I have several forms that have payment options. Is there a way to disconnect all together and reconnect? I'm hoping to not have to go into each one to do the above steps.

    Hi Sarah,

    There's no option to disconnect and reconnect your Square account in all your forms at once. It needs to be reconnected per form. I checked your other form as well, and it's showing the fetching location on the payment settings too. I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.

    Hi Sarah,

    Can you check if Jotform is an authorized app in your Square account? Let me show you how:

    1. On the Dashboard, click on the 3 Horizontal lines on the left side.
    2. Click on App Integration and make sure that Jotform is listedSquare Integration: Stuck in Fetching Business location Screenshot 20

    If it's not there, normally, it should get authorized when you connect your Square account to Jotform. In this case, in your form, I recommend switching to a different payment gateway and switching back to Square so it'll ask you to log in to your account again.

    Square was disconnected as well as reconnected and I have now reconnected each individual contract that's currently not archived. Do you still see 'fetching locations'? It doesn't look like I'm able to check to see if it's fetching locations. Thanks!

    Hi Sarah,

    I reviewed your form and it still indicates that it is fetching locations for business locations, but the integration seems to be connected. You should be able to check the status of the business location in the Square integration. Are you not able to see the business location option? Could you take a screenshot of Square integration and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that. Let me show how to check the business location in the Square integration:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Payment element and then click on the Shopping Basket icon.
    2. In the Payment Settings list, click on the Gear Icon on top.
    3. It will show you the Connected button. Below that the second option will be Business Location.

    Now that you have reconnected the Square integration, the payment should work. Could you try testing it again with a payment and let us know how it goes?

    The same contract on my end does NOT show "fetching locations", rather lists my actual business location...

    If you have already disconnected and reconnected the Square Integration, could you please try a test submission? If you continue to encounter the same error, please let us know. Also, I've checked your Square Integration and can confirm that it is connected.

    Seems to work for me when I tested it but it's always the clients that have issues. I'll report back if that's the case. Thanks.
