Hi, my nonprofit is organizing a free event for our staff and we need to be able to:

-Collect waivers digitally as part of registration (it's an event w/ physical activities) and ppl will be registering their families in addition to themselves.

    -Quickly verify registration day of.

    We expect 600-800 ppl.

Does JotForm have the features to make this possible? If so can you send me more information? I know you excel at getting digital signatures, but not sure how your company handles combining that with event registration and check in (basically just need to make sure they filled out the waiver when they show up).

    Thank you.

    Hi Claudia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you want to create a waiver form allowing the user to sign and register. You also want to verify that they filled out the waiver when they showed up. You can create such a form in Jotform. We have Waiver Form Templates that you can use and customize to suit your needs by adding form elements. Let me show you how:

    1. Click on the Waiver Form Template link and then click on the Use Template button that you like to use.
    2. It will add the form to your account and open it in the form builder. Create waiver form with registration and option to verify their registration Screenshot 40
    3. Click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    4. Add form elements to your form that you want users to fill out.
    5. You can add a Paragraph element to add content of your waiver or terms and condition.
    6. Add a Signature element that will let your user sign digitally on the form. Create waiver form with registration and option to verify their registration Screenshot 51

You can add the QR code for the user's submission page to the autoresponder email of the form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab from the orange navigation bar.
    2. Click Emails on the left menu.
    3. Now, click on Autoresponder Email and then click on the Edit icon.
    4. In the Email tab, click on the Source Code icon >_ from the editor toolbar.
    5. In the Source Code window, add the HTML code given below:
    <img src="https://quickchart.io/chart?cht=qr&amp;chs=150x150&amp;chl=https://www.jotform.com/submission/{id}&amp;choe=UTF-8" alt="Your unique QR code" width="150" height="150" />

That's it. Upon form submission, an autoresponder email will be sent to the user with a QR code to show the user's submission page. When they show up on the event day, you can scan their QR code, giving you a unique URL to view their submission data and confirm if they filled out the form.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Claudia,

I wanted to remind you that our Starter plan has specific limits, including 100 submissions and 100 signed documents, in addition to other limits. You'll need to upgrade your account if you anticipate receiving 600-800 submissions. You can check our Pricing page to see the available plans and their limits.

It's really easy to upgrade your account. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Pricing in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page.

You can also upgrade your subscription on your account’s Upgrade/Billing page.

    2. On the Pricing page, choose the plan you want to buy.

    3. In the popup window, choose either a Monthly or Yearly payment schedule and either Credit/Debit Card or PayPal as the payment method.

Here’s an example of the Bronze plan:

After you click on Continue, you'll need to enter your Credit/Debit Card details.

If you choose to use PayPal, you’ll get redirected to the PayPal payment page to complete the payment. Check out this guide for more details about upgrading your account.

We also have a guide about Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits that you can check out.

Let us know if you need any more help.

One more question: what tool would we use to scan the QR codes on the day of the event?
