App builder: Collaboration feature

Any movement on Allowing third parties to sign in and help me improve my apps? Or letting me Pay someone on your staff to help improve them? Any plans to allow the apps to be available on Apple and Google?

I really don't want to pay to have to have a third party have to use my words in the app, but place it on an entirely different platform so it is downloadble.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We don't provide custom form creation or designing services, but you're welcome to work with a third party who may be able to help you. You can check out our Jotform Solutions Partner Directory for a list of consultants who've asked to be included.

You can get in touch with the right Solutions Partner for you by sorting them by location, type of service, industry, language support, or partner tier. Just fill out the contact form for the Jotform partner you'd like to work with, so they can make the necessary preparations to help you.

Keep in mind, though, that these parties operate independently of Jotform, so we assume no responsibility or liability for their work or their actions.

We hope you find the help you're looking for.

The key question is will Jotform allow one of the resources on your list to log in to my account and improve my apps? In the past you have said I dare not allow anyone into my account to do that. I am looking for someone to use what I have in my account and improve it not rebuild it separately.

    also.

My other question. Any plans to make jotform apps downloadable on Apple?

also what is the minimum fee to drop Jot form logo from my apps

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for getting back to us. It is possible to do that by applying for the Enterprise Account but sharing accounts credentials violates the Jotform's Terms of Use. The Enterprise plan will allow you to add sub-users to the account. It will enable the sub-user to improve your Jotform App according to your wants.

If you're interested, you can fill out this form to contact the Enterprise Sales Department.

As for your other questions, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that here and here.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

The solutions partner service list does not include anyone that can help me improve my Jotform apps. If I put app in the search bar nothing shows up. Nor is there such an option in the filters.

So I am still in need of help in improving my two apps. I would pay for that or I would pay you to allow another person to enter my account and work to make my app better.

    Hi Richard,

Can you tell us how exactly you want to improve the two Jotform Apps in your account? Can you send us the link to your Jotform Apps so we can take a look at it for you?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what you want to do and how to help.

https://www.jotform.com/app/230225461315142 Here is one of the two apps. I stretched my skills to create this. There were so many other templates, but I do not know how to transfer the content in this app to any of the others in case they might better meet my needs. This one is OK, not great, not bad.

The intent of the app is to offer at least one page for each of the main chapters of my new book, 7keys to a More Satisfying Future at Work. www.your7keys.com is the website. The book is the combined wisdom of 60 successful people who started in lowly positions and achieved high levels of success. So many people helped me progress, I want to "pay it forward."

Here are the things I believe could improve the app....the overall hope for the app is that the users will take responsibility for their careers, to take positive action to make the most of their time at work. So I have added questions at the end of each section (they match the key tips from the book).

    So

    1. If a user types their answers in to the app I would like them to be able to print our their answers.
    2. I would like there to be a link to the website as there is a free 12 page career planning guide there to help the users.
    3. If the content could be made more attractive...the app has the early on slide show which is great, but maybe there are ways to make the internal pages more attractive.
    4. The menu to move around the app is up in the left hand corner...if at the end of each "page" there could be the option to move to the next section AND return to the main menu, that would be more user friendly.
    5. I was hoping the list of your jotform resources might help, but no one was listed under apps. I have a friend with her own jotform account, but I have been lead to believe she may not access my app to improve it. every time I want to add a team mate, it wants me to upgrade. Since I am really trying to give the book away and the app has no commercial value and I am a military and business retiree on my own, none of the Enterprise options are cost effective and I am not sure they will help anyway.

Of course, and we have been over this, I wish there was a way for the app to be acceptable to Apple, but I understand that is not an option. I can pay an outside app developer to recreate the entire app, but that will be many thousands of dollars.

Thank you for listening and helping.

    Hi richinkie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand your requirements, but I’ll need a bit of time to check for a workaround or if we need to send this feature request to our developers. I’ll get back to you shortly.

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it.

    Hi richinkie,

We have a list of help guides for Jotform Apps here. If there's a specific question that can't be found in the help guide, you can always reach out to us for help.

Right now, the app created on Jotform can't be shared on App Store or Play Store.

Also, adding a team member is only applicable to our Enterprise account holders, and I truly understand it's not applicable for you to upgrade to the Enterprise plan. The next option would be to request a collaboration feature in our App Builder. This feature is available in our Form Builder and this would be helpful to allow anyone to work with you in building the app. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

I moved your other questions to the following threads. Click each link for the answer:

    1. Jotform Apps: Linking a form to a page in the App
    2. Jotform Apps: Adding a link in the App.
    3. Jotform Apps: Request to make the internal page more attractive.
    4. Jotform Apps: Adding a button to navigate to pages on the App.

Reach out again if you need any other help.
