I am testing this. Unfortunately the Photo that is sent is really reduced in size and not really of any use. Is there any way to send the photo in it's original size?

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you send me the link to your form so that I can take a look at it for you? Also, are you referring to the size of the photos in the tables or the size of the photos embedded in the PDF Document that gets generated by the form?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

    Hi Angeli,

Thanks for getting back so quickly!

Here is a link to the form: https://form.jotform.com/241442745683360

What I am referring to, is the photo that is sent with the mail when using the "take photo" feature, not the size in tables or generated PDFs.

If I take a photo with my camera, the original photo has a large size. However the photo that is sent is very, very small in size: 428x552 pixels.

Since we are looking for a product to use to allow our customers to take a photos of a document, the photo attached to the email has to be in its original size and not reduced in size.

Attached is an example of a photo taken in the Jotform and sent to my email:

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Can you please share with us the submission ID? Please note that we do not currently have an option to control the quality/size of the images captured with the Take Photo Widget. If you would like to capture the images in their original sizes, use a standard File Upload field. The File Upload field should allow the live image capture on the mobile devices as well.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this

    Hi Israel,

OK, thanks! Then I will just use the File Upload field. I didn't know that you could also take a photo from the File upload field.

That being said, I'm wondering why the Take Photo widget is offered when the file upload field also does pretty much the same thing.

So thanks you helped me further!
