Dear Jotform,
is it possible to generate an eml file of your filled in form?
We want the user to be able to download the eml file instead of letting JotForm send an automatic mail towards person X.

The default allowed file types are: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif
However, you can add the more into the File Upload properties. Please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/29-How-to-Change-the-Allowed-File-Types-in-the-Upload-Field

Yes I do understand that Roneet, but I'm asking this for download not upload.
My question is the following: is there any possibility to download the form data or email as an eml file or consort before you hit submit?

Hey there,
Unfortunately, there is no option for EML export of any kind.
I'm not really familiar with EML but you may either use one of our integrations from this list: https://apps.jotform.com/category/integrations
OR
If the application you are looking for is not there, you might want to try Zapier and use it as a bridge for the apps supported by Zapier.
