Need "Other" option for Dropdown elements

Jotform needs the ability to add an "Other" option to Dropdown elements, whereby a short text field will appear when selected, allowing the user to enter alternate information, other than what was presented in the pre-defined list of dropdown options.

I understand this can be accomplished manually with conditional logic, as outlined below. However, this is such a common need, potentially multiple times per form, that the option to do so with a single click in the Dropdown Properties pane should be implemented. (This is very common in other form/survey tools, as is the ability to rename the "Other" field name.)

We can only offer the workaround indicated in the Support link you've indicated. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. How can a super efficient tool like Jotform forget such kind of basic feature ?
