Need "Other" option for Dropdown elements

Jotform needs the ability to add an "Other" option to Dropdown elements, whereby a short text field will appear when selected, allowing the user to enter alternate information, other than what was presented in the pre-defined list of dropdown options.

I understand this can be accomplished manually with conditional logic, as outlined below. However, this is such a common need, potentially multiple times per form, that the option to do so with a single click in the Dropdown Properties pane should be implemented. (This is very common in other form/survey tools, as is the ability to rename the "Other" field name.)

    Thank you!

    Hi Charlie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We can only offer the workaround indicated in the Support link you've indicated. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi,

    I'm totally agree with zimmecl.

I just create a ticket to ask the same question.

How can a super efficient tool like Jotform forget such kind of basic feature ?

I hope you will update the apps by adding this possibility.

    Thanks
