Hello,
I manage many forms for which I use Jotform's Google Spreadsheet Integration. I recently noticed that any time I make a change to a form, the integrated spreadsheet STOPS accepting new submissions. This not only happens when I add a field to the form, but even happens if I simply edit or add an option in a Dropdown widget. This has become very time consuming and inhibitive for my work. Currently, if I add an option in a Dropdown widget, I need to (1) remove the Google Spreadsheet integration, (2) re-add a new Google Spreadsheet integration, and (3) update all of my files/tools to pull data from the new Google URL (rather than the previous sheet url).
If this is a bug with Jotform (the fact that a change to a form means that the google integration stops working), I'm wondering if it will be resolved.
If this is not a bug, I'm wondering if there's any way for me to revert my Jotform settings to the point where I might be able to make a change to a form but allow the google integration to keep operating as usual.
Thanks,
Sasha

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. We do not encourage editing the Google Spreadsheet integrated with the form because it tends to break the integration. A workaround that you can do is to import the data from the original sheet into another sheet using IMPORTRANGE https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3093340?hl=
Then, you can already alter the imported data in the new sheet.
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Hi Jed,
I don't think my use is being fully understood. I am not editing the google spreadsheet integrated with the form. Instead, I am editing the Jotform form. When I edit the Jotform form (even an edit such as adding an option to a dropdown widget), the integration breaks. Is this the expected behavior? If so, are there workarounds?
Thanks,
Sasha

I tested a card form with the google spreadsheet integration and when you add a field or edit some fields, you need to reintegrate it. I can't seem to find any work around on this.
I added a dropdown field and the Google Spreadsheet Integration did not add/update the dropdown field, as seen above.
However, when I add a new option to my dropdown, the integration doesn't break.
Hope this information helps.
