Hi Steven,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understand you correctly, you want to get the hidden value at the first submission of the form. When I checked your form, I saw that you have already set the Default value for Stage. May I know when you edited the form, did you change anything? Or did you keep their Tables open at all times or log in every time before opening tables? If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Here is how my table looks after a form is submitted. The stage field is always empty........
.......however, that field is defaulted to "Quote", but is hidden from the client.

Hi Steven,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form to test it, and I easily replicated the issue. There is an easy fix for this. We just need to set the Clear Hidden Field Values option to Don't Clear. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Setting at the top.
- Under Form Settings, click on Show More Options.
- Find Clear Hidden Field Values, and then select Don't Clear from the dropdown option. That's it.
Give it a try, and let us know if you need more help.
