How to add an Other option in the Dropdown element?

Good morning! I need to add a field within a dropdown selection so that you can "Add your own" pronouns - what's the easiest way to do this, please?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the Dropdown element does not have the Add Other option. The easiest way is to use the Single Choice or Multiple Choice element for your "Preferred pronouns (optional ) field, which allows the form filler to enter their preferred pronouns. Check out my screencast below to see my result:

Another workaround is to create a Short Text element and use the Show/Hide Field conditional logic to display the Other field in the form if the form filler selects the "Add Your Own" option in the Dropdown field. Here's how to do it:

1. Click the Add Form Element in Form Builder.
2. Drag and drop the Short Text element into your form.
   
3. Then, click Settings in Form Builder.
4. Go to the Conditions tab.
5. Click the Add Condition button.
   
6. Select the Show/Hide Field conditional logic.
   
7. Set up the Show/Hide Field conditional logic as shown in my screenshot below.
