Hi team ,
I would like to change my date format to appear with day like this
Friday, 12/01/2018 on my auto responder mail.
Right now am using "date picker" widget
If I use future date will it be able to appear as the format I mention above?
Pls let me know.

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement by adding the following tag in the subject line of your auto-responder / notification email alert:
{DATE:l, d-m-Y}

I tested this in one of my own form and the date was displayed correctly. Please check the screenshot below:
You can change the separator from "-" to "/".

I tried did future date like 20/01/2018 on the widget date picket
but the date appear on auto respond mail is 08/01/2018
why is that? -

To display the date as you have explained kindly add the tag {date} to your email template. This will pick the date you have chosen from the date picker as shown below.
