I'm not quite sure what you mean by you want to save the new form with same old link address. Every form created has a different Form URL so it is not possible to have two forms with the same form URL. Here's how to get your form URL: Where to Find My Form URL.
However, if I misunderstood your question, please clarify a bit more and do get back to us.

What I mean is I have an old form which uses link 1. Now I have created a new firm which has automatically created a link 2. My issue is my flyers all reference the old link 1 , but I want people to use the link 1 but open the new form. If I delete the old form is there not some way to have that link location reused for form 2? Like perhaps rename form 2 (to form 1) or it's designated location ?

Dear Alan,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to set the same URL for different forms as each form has to have a unique link. My recommendation is please modify the same form in order to use the same link.
You can consider different ideas, such as modifying the old form and write the link of the second form on the old form to inform your users.
Moreover, you can share the second form's link via an email as you can see in the following guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/303-How-to-Send-a-Form-via-Email
Please also check the following guide if you would like to set a custom URL: https://www.jotform.com/help/261-How-to-Create-a-Custom-URL-of-a-Form However, keep in mind that also you are not allowed to use the same URL as you can see in the following example:
I hope this information will be helpful.
Thank you.
