Hello,
I'm having a hard time setting up a tip area on my form with Square. Could you walk me through setting that up, please? Thank you so much!

If I understand correctly you wanted a textfield labeled "Tip" and the customer can input any amount right ? If yes, you can add that as a product with a "Product option" of Textbox. Then you just set the amount to 1$ since it will automatically multiply to the number they input.
You may also set it up exempted to your tax.
I cloned your form https://form.jotformpro.com/72546547798980
Please reply back if I have misunderstood your request.Thanks.

http://cm.d.pr/qDj2nV Or do I need to put a dollar amt in that "product"
field?
I tried to leave the blank and it looks like this - http://cm.d.pr/nhYWJ1
I'm also having a hard time finding how you made it a Textbox there. Mine
looks like this - http://cm.d.pr/8iLvNz
Thanks so much for your help!

When you put the price there, it will automatically add a dollar sign. Also, it will change the price to Free if you leave it empty, as you tried already.
Here is how to access the textbox you mentioned:
Regarding the tip, maybe you could do something like the below, you can change the name of the field:
And make it selected by default:
It will look a bit nicer for the end user and if they want to add the tip they fill the text box, or they can leave it empty.
Here is my version of the form: https://www.jotform.com/72555739151966
Hope it helps.
