Can I take photo and extract Vehicle Number from that photo?

We run a security company and we have a few projects where I need to track vehicle parking fees, to avoid fines, during the busy day it becomes difficult for our guards to track these, I want similar like how we scan the QR code, which records the data, the same way I want to use the camera to record number plate information inside the column.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature to capture a photo and extract text from that photo isn't available at Jotform right now. We do currently offer a Take Photo widget which can be used to capture the name on the card and allow it to be manually transcribed.

We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
