Prefill: Is it possible to push data from Salesforce to Jotform?

    Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to push details from Salesforce onto a Jotform? I have a Jotform created and I can see how to connect it with Salesforce. Is it possible to push information that already exists in Salesforce onto the Jotform before the Jotform is sent to a person to fill out?

Let me know if I can clarify any of that.

    Thank you

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want to pull data from Salesforce to make a prefilled form, then you can check out How to Prefill Your Form Using Data From Salesforce. Let me show you:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Publish tab from the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.

    2. Click on Prefill from the left menu.

    3. Select Salesforce Prefill.

    4. Authenticate your account, select a Salesforce list, and map your fields.

    5. Click on Save Settings at the bottom.

    6. Click on Add a New Prefill.

    7. Select a Contact or Lead from the list.

    8. Click on the Create button. When you click on the generated URL, you'll see that the form is prefilled.

    9. To share your form with the prefill data, open a prefill entry’s menu, then choose how you would to share your link to either Send Invitation or Copy URL.

    Hi Rayzel,

Thank you for the info! It looks like it's only possible to prefill from Leads or Contacts, is that right? Is there an option that can be turned on to prefill from opportunities?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to prefill the form with data from Salesforce opportunities. We can submit a feature request for this but I'd like to set a proper expectation that we are unable to provide an ETA or a guarantee that this will be implemented. Should we proceed?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Rica,

Thank you for the info. Sure, let's submit a feature request. I understand there isn't an ETA.

    Thank you

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for getting back to us. I have successfully submitted a Feature Request to have the option to prefill a form from a Salesforce Opportunity.

Once we have an update, we will circle back to this thread to let you know.
