When email a PDF file on submission I note that file name it creates is something like 3666922089.............pdf
Is it possible to derive the filename from fields in the form.
For example Firstname Last Name.pdf
This then allows easy identification of the registrant to the filename.

Are you referring to the PDF file attached to the submission notification email?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to customize the PDF file name, the name will be the submission ID number, for that particular submission. So it's cannot be changed.
If you're using one of our third party integration services, such as Google Drive integration or Dropbox, then you can change the PDF file name based on the value derived from your form fields.
Please refer to the following links for more information:

Upload to Dropbox with JotForm
Thank you.

That is very bad news.
I hope you will be looking to remedy this.
At least two of your competitors have this feature.
Thanks
