I have a form where the user can use a coupon to discount the total paid in the PayPal widget and I would like to pass the discounted total to another field where I can use it in a calculation.

This doesn't actually answer my question though. I need to pass the discounted amount from the PayPal module to another field on my form. I don't have a total field in the PayPal module as there is only one item (please take a look at the form that I attached to the support ticket).

You may enable the option Shot Total price on the form so that the final price is displayed on the form and this value can be passed to another field.
Now, add a new calculation widget to the form and add the PayPal field to the calculation field so that the value of the PayPal field is displayed.
This is how it displays on the form.
Hope this information helps!
