I’m creating an online gig guide that will use a JotForm to gather event information. What I need is an ap that will allow people to enter event information and then upload that information directly to my online gig guide.

Hi,
According to my understanding, you are wondering that how to show the submission data in a webpage. If it is not your issue, please explain your issue more detailed and provide some screenshots etc.
First of all, it is possible to show form submissions in a website. Please have a look at the following application: http://apps.jotform.com/app/submission_view
Please follow the steps below:
#1- Thanks to Submission View application, you can select which fields you want to show in the website and change the style of the submissions page according to your website view etc. Please have a look at the following video:
After you arrange the settings according to your needs, finally you get the iFrame embed code.
#3- Use this iFrame code into the source code of your website.
Finally, when someone submit the form, it will be shown in your website automatically. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation system. You need to remove the submissions that you don't want to publish.
Please have a look at the following video:
If you need any other supports, please feel free to let us know.
Thank you.

Thanks for responding to my question...
This looks to be what I'm after except I don't want to have to cut and
paste code if I can avoid it .. a send button from the app that updates
my website would be ideal...
Thanks,
Vince

Hi Vince,
I have updated my previous comment and I have shared more detailed information about the Submission View Application in this comment. Could you please check it again?
On the other hand, there are some other ways to show submissions in the webpage. One of the most useful way is to use Submission Reports. You can create a Submission Report and embed it into your website, too. Please have a look at the following steps:
#1- Select the form and click Report>Add New Report.
#2- Select Grid Listing (you can try others such ad HTML Table Listing etc) and click Next.
#3- Select which form fields you want to show in the website in the page Add New Report. After that, click Next.
#4- Finally, copy the iFrame code of the submission report (Grid Listing).
#5- Paste iFrame Code of the Grid Listing into the source code of your form.
Please have a look at the video below to see the result:
Please note that there is no confirmation system in these cases. When someone submits your form, it is shown in the website automatically. You need to remove submissions from the submissions page if you don't want to show it.
