In accordance with section 133 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 as amended, you must lodge your application to register your exempt public transport service with the Council at least 15 working days before you intend to commence your service. Note: an application will only be considered as having been lodged with Council once all information deemed necessary to assess the application has been recieved by Council.

Public Transport Service Details

You need to provide information on the following items.
A. Route or routes registered, including the termini for the service
Please provide a full written description of the route(s) proposed for use in the service. This should detail every street and the direction the vehicle turns onto them.
State the location of all termini (where the bus will start or finish on each route).
Note, if any of these are not an approved terminus (as specified in the Regional Public Transport Plan 2012, you will need to seek permission from the relevant district/city council and we recommend you include this with your application.
