HORSE RIDING IS A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY
 

I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that horse riding is a dangerous activity and that horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.

I understand and acknowledge that serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse riding activities. I agree that I RIDE/ PARTICIPATE at my OWN RISK.

 I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind-altering drugs before and during the activity and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption. I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law whilst riding.

Conduct                                             

I agree to wear a safety approved helmet at all times whilst on a horse at Jolong Park and agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that I wear a suitable helmet at all times whilst riding and take sole responsibility for my actions.

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless and agree not to sue Jolong Park, it's employees or other participants (all of whom are referred to as 'Releasees') with respect to any and all injury, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property·, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

Effect of this Document
I understand that my signature to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release of all liability of the proprietors of the Releasees, to the greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.

Conditions of riding in the indoor
Pass riders approaching in opposite direction left hand to left hand Riders in walk give right of way

Diagonal changes / lateral work have right of way

Horses behaving in a dangerous manner will be removed from the arena All manure to be picked up after your ride

Emergency Contact:
In the event of a serious accident to horse or human, Jolong Park will contact Ambulance Victoria, or call for veterinary attention on your behalf. By signing this waiver, you accept these conditions.

This form must be completed by someone over 18 years of age. If the rider is under 18 this form must be completed by a parent or guardian.

One risk form needs to be filled out per rider.

By signing my name above, either in person or by one of my representatives, I hereby agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions stated above which I have carefully read and understood. I understand that I will not be able to ride if I do not submit this form.
