At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), FCSAmerica will award $2,500 scholarships.
Ineligible, incomplete, and late applications will not be considered.
Your application information may be provided to the University of Nebraska Foundation or Donor in order to aid in choosing a recipient, invite you to attend a scholarship meeting/luncheon with the donors of your scholarship or provide more information or promote on your award in their publications. Scholarships may be changed or discontinued by the donor at any time.
Application deadline is April 25, 2025.
Selection Criteria:
- Freshman or above class level in good academic standing for the academic year scholarship is received.
- Enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) in Agronomy, Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Mechanized Systems Management (Agricultural Systems Technology), or the College of Business (COB) majoring in Agribusiness.
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 preferred.
- Preference is given to residents of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wyoming.
- One- to two-page essay on how the applicant plans to use his/her major in the chosen career.
- Agricultural background or work-related experience in agriculture.
- Benefits eligible Employees and Directors, together with their spouses, and any person related to them or their spouse as child, grandchild, step child, step grandchild, anyone living in the residence of a Benefits-eligible Employee or Director, or the spouse of any of the above shall not be eligible for any scholarship programs or educational grants offered or sponsored by the Association.
- Previous Farm Credit Services of America scholarship winners are not eligible.
- Donor may change or withdraw scholarship at any time.
