2025 OPEN ACCESS INTENSIVE
WHAT IS OPEN ACCESS?

Expand your potential at the 2025 MOVE|NYC| OPEN ACCESS Intensive. Modeled after the sought-after Young Professionals Program, OPEN ACCESS provides opportunities for talented youth in the New York City and Tri-State area (NY including LI, NJ, CT) to experience the artistic rigor, leadership training, and empowerment that MOVE|NYC| has to offer. OPEN ACCESS affords the next generation of artists with exposure to relevant, hands-on training that is needed in order to achieve a professional dance career. It is our mission to provide this training to as many young dancers as possible at this critical juncture in their technical and artistic development.

New York City and Tri-State Area (NYS, LI, NJ, & CT) dancers

FINANCIAL NEED

We offer limited scholarships to participants who demonstrate urgent financial need. The most competitive statements often are the most comprehensive when being considered for scholarship support and at which level. Please read through the list below to determine if you meet the criteria for scholarship consideration.

Are your immediate financial needs related to?:
- Loss of income (lost full-time, part-time, or contract-based work)
- Caretaking (unable to afford to care for my dependents, which could include children, elders, or other loved ones)
- Housing (unable to pay rent or maintain a steady or safe living situation)
- Medical (unable to secure necessary medications for pre-existing or current conditions)
