Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Thomas More University Biology Field Station! We are currently seeking passionate people to help with the following projects:
- K-12 environmental education programs including on-site field trips, tours, in-house programs, summer camps, and more,
- Animal husbandry of our aquatic animals, including freshwater fish, mussels, and hellbenders,
- Landscaping, beautification, trail maintenance, and invasive plant species removal on field station property,
- Special events crew for annual fundraisers such as the Concert for Conservation to help with parking, check-in, and other logistics.
In addition to giving back to the community and supporting conservation and STEM Outreach in the region, after accruing hours volunteering at the Field Station, you can receive free swag, discounted Field Station lodge stays, and even discounted spots for you or a high schooler of your choice in our ECO STEM Camp, among other benefits. After submitting this form, we will follow up with you shortly to discuss opportunities. Please note that all volunteers will be required to schedule a volunteer orientation and sign a release of liability waiver prior to starting.
