This community service club meets once a month for impactful lessons and feel good projects to affect positive change in the world. This program is geared toward girls in High School with leadership positions for older students (can be counted toward community service hours)

Fall Sessions:

September 15th Spread the sweetness - Join us for our kickoff event! We will learn about honey, bake sweet honeycakes, and craft our own sweet treats from the Rita's ice cream truck! The sweetest part? our honeycakes will raise money to make it a sweeter New Year for displaced families in Israel!

October 6th - Living for those we lost - We will help set up a memorial at Aish to honor those lost on October 7th, set up a brachot party and learn about what we can do to live for those we lost and invite others to do the same.

November 17th - Thanks and giving - In advance of thanksgiving we will tap in to the meaning of the Holiday from a Jewish perspective and give of our time to pack food for those in need at a local food bank.

Winter Sessions:

December 15th - Spread the light - we will visit a home for kids with special needs, decorate it for Chanukah to bring joy to the children and prepare treats and packages for them to open on the holiday!

I hereby consent to my child's participation in Aish HaTorah Detroit activities. I hereby release, waive, discharge and indemnify Aish HaTorah Detroit , their affiliates, agents, officers, directors, supervisors, and employees (herein referred to collectively as "Aish") from and against any and all claims for property damages, liability or personal injuries and risks associated with any activity including but not limited to Covid-19, which my child may sustain. I further agree to indemnify and defend against any and all claims for property damages, liabilities, or personal injuries which a third party may sustain by reason of any act or omission of my child. 

Additionally, I understand that my child or children's pictures taken while participating in any school activities may be used by Aish for their marketing purposes.
