4. The email with the above information from the Fire Chief must be kept with the Electronic Burn Permit and must be provided to law enforcement personnel upon request 5. If the above email and Electronic Burn Permit cannot be provided to the authority having jurisdiction, either electronically or on paper this will be considered conducting open burning without a permit. 6. Any additional permits or requirements of the fire department having jurisdiction must be included with the Electronic Burn Permit, either as an attachment or as detailed in the approval email from the Fire Chief.
81-520.02. Open burning ban; range-management burning; violations; penalty. Any person violating the statewide open burning ban established by section 81-520.01 or violating sections 81-520.03 to 81-520.05 shall be guilty of a Class IV misdemeanor.
