The Jewish Federations of North America’s (“JFNA”) National Young Leadership (“NYL”) team is excited to officially open the application and nomination process for the NYL Cabinet Class of 2024!
We will accept your application, accompanied by the nomination from your community, until 5:00 PM PT on Friday, May 17, 2024.
Since its founding in 1963, NYL Cabinet (“Cabinet”) has supported top volunteer leaders in the Federation movement and throughout the Jewish World to lead at higher levels and have a greater impact. A Jewish values-based leadership and philanthropic development program, Cabinet engages highly dedicated individuals who embody the values of service, humility, authenticity, and integrity. Cabinet aims to create a culture of belonging for all participants, and celebrates the full diversity of Jewish life.
Ideal candidates take seriously their own call to service, and their responsibility to lead within the greater Jewish community. Cabinet members have the opportunity to hone their leadership skills, establish a peer group, share best practices, community challenges, and bring their ideas and strategies home for deepening commitment to Jewish Life and Federation in service to the Jewish community in a moment where leadership is needed to face unprecedented challenges.
