We are contracting paid campus fellows to work for Climate Defiance. We use disruptive tactics to resist fossil fuel extraction. We go hard at Climate Defiance. We blockaded the White House Correspondents Dinner. We shut down a book launch by the pro-pipeline Senator Amy Klobuchar. We made Manchin flee a stage. We TOOK OVER the Congressional Women's Softball Game. We make life hell for people in power who are complicit in our destruction. And we do not apologize. We will contract on a rolling basis and aim to make decisions imminently. We are especially eager to hire students in DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, LA, SF and swing states. This paid fellowship will involve roughly 10 hours per week of work and pay $1170 per month (roughly $27 per hour). This will involve engaging in disruptive, nonviolent direct action and organizing students on your campus and in your city.

A brand-new, youth-driven, grassroots group dedicated to confronting the climate crisis head on. We will use disruptive, nonviolent direct action to resist fossil fuel extraction.

Organize students on your campus and beyond (we may explore the potential to start school chapters of Climate Defiance, depending on your campus); Amass support for this movement amongst students, faculty and community members; Plan actions; Fundraise; Create social media content; Research demands; Assist with assorted group tasks as needs arise; Represent Climate Defiance in the community.
