This form is for schools that wish to request approval to transfer course credit.
Required Documents
Please be aware that the submission of the mentioned documents is required. Failure to provide any of the required documents may have an impact on credit transfer approval
- Course Syllabus: The course syllabus provides a detailed overview of the topics covered, learning objectives, and the structure of the course. It helps CMKL assess the similarity and compatibility of the courses being transferred. By reviewing the syllabus, we can determine if the content and depth of the course align with our own curriculum.
- Course Materials
- Example of Assessments: Providing examples of assessments, such as assignments, projects, or papers, gives us an idea of the level of rigor and academic expectations in the course. It helps them evaluate the quality and relevance of the assessments and ensure they meet our own standards.
- Example of Exam: Sharing an example of an exam allows us to evaluate the depth and breadth of knowledge tested in the course. It helps CMKL determine if the course covers similar concepts and if the assessment methods are comparable to our own requirements.
- Grading Criteria: The grading criteria document outlines how student performance is evaluated and the standards used for assigning grades. By reviewing the grading criteria, CMKL can assess the level of mastery expected in the course and how it aligns with our own grading system (competency based assesments).
- Instructor's Resume or CV: The instructor's resume or curriculum vitae provides information about the qualifications and expertise of the instructor who taught the course. This helps us gauge the instructor's credentials and determine if they have the necessary qualifications to teach the course effectively.
