Definitions:
BIT (Behavior):
The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) investigates and evaluates threats and other concerning behavior, then implements strategies for managing individuals that may pose a threat of harm to others or self-harm. The team’s goal is to work with all parties involved to effect a safe campus environment.
TART (Threat):
The Threat Assessment and Response Team (TART) serves to identify potential risks of harm to persons or property of the college at an earliest stage as possible and to work constructively and collaboratively with all involved parties before problems escalate.
Classroom Conduct:
All Redlands students and student organizations are expected to abide by expectations of responsible behavior as established under the Student Code of Conduct. Students, faculty, staff and other persons are encouraged to report concerning behavior that appears to disrupt our shared learning environment. Reports made here are for non-emergency incidents only.
