2023 Region Workshop Sanctioning Form
WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Clubs are now able to conduct their own updating workshops. These workshops can include, and are not restricted to club planning, risk management. sport specific training and mentoring.

However, clubs must apply for sanctioning 2 weeks prior to the workshop and provide GNSW with an administration fee of $88 per workshop at the time of submitting the application, and $8.80 per participant at the time of submitting the attendance roll for updating points.
- - The Workshop content is decided by the club and must in an appropriate form of Professional Development
- - Each workshop is worth 1 updating point per 2 hours
- - A maximum of 3 updating points can be gained from sanctioned workshop
- - Participants must sign the Attendance Record Sheets and Workshop Evaluation form provided by GNSW upon confirmation. Both record sheet and evaluation forms must be submitted to judges@gymnsw.org.au after the workshop to receive updating points.
Updating points will only be allocated once the full fee has been paid.

WORKSHOP CLASSIFICATIONS
- o 'OPEN' Update Workshops (The Club/Committee host updating activities that are 'open' to all members of the gymnastics community. These Updating activities are advertised on yours and can be advertised on GNSW website subject to content approval. Any additional workshop charge to participants to cover cost is at host discretion.)
- o 'CLOSED' Updating Workshops (The Club/Committee hosts Updating activities that are for host Club members only)
Note: No updating will be sanctioned from 1st December - 31st January.

Sanctioning Request Application Fee: $88.00 Participant: $8.80 per person (This will be calculated based on the numbers on the Attendance Record Sheet returned and charged to the nominated credit card provided on the sheet)

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR ANY WORKSHOPS AS THESE WILL APPLY TO YOUR SANCTIONING. ONCE AN APPLICATION OF SANCTIONING IS RECEIVED AT GNSW IT IS ASSUMED YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

It is the clubs responsibility to organise all the aspects of the workshops. Gymnastics NSW are solely responsible for the sanctioning and allocation of updating points.

All Sanctioning fees must be paid prior to the workshop. Credit card payment is preferred.

CONFIRMATION OF APPLICATION

If you submit an email address on your sanctioning form we will send back a confirmation via email. Please note that if you do submit an email address, this is the preferred method of communication and you will need to request a confirmation via post.

Updating points will be allocated after all payments have been received and a course roll has been sent to GNSW
