Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer with us to expand your horizons, meet interesting people, surround yourself with some of civilization’s greatest achievements, and explore the amazing history of our natural world and its inhabitants. Teens (ages 14+), college students, and adults of all ages may become volunteers to support almost every department at Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
Paid Internships at the Museums
Intern with Carnegie Museums to gain hands-on experience and professional learning! Limited internships and other experiential learning opportunities are available at all four museums. Internships are posted throughout the year as they become available. Before You Apply: Some internships are offered as work-study postions and require applicants to qualify for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program through FAFSA and their partnering academic institution’s financial aid office.
