Home Builders Association Membership

All EarthCraft House Builders must be current members of their local Home Builders Association (HBA) or National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Home builders may verify this by uploading a certificate of membership. All other EarthCraft Professionals will be required to join the EarthCraft Program through the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. EarthCraft Program membership is separate from any HBA membership.

Acknowledgement, Representation and Agreement
A.                 The applicant is a current member, in good standing, of his/her local Home Builders Association.

B.                 The applicant represents that all of the information contained in the application is true and complete.

C.                 Prior to submission of the application; the applicant has received, carefully and completely reviewed and understood the attached copy of the Policies and Procedures. The applicant agrees to strictly and completely abide by and be bound by each provision of the Policies and Procedures, as they now exist or may hereafter be amended by the Greater Atlanta HBA.

D.                 The applicant agrees to comply with and be bound by each of the criteria for membership as an EarthCraft House Builder set forth in the Policies and Procedures, including, but not limited to these relating to: compliance with EarthCraft House standards; compliance with informational and marketing rules; issuance of EarthCraft House certificates; use of contract addenda; use of contract specifications (Worksheet); compliance with Code of Ethics; inspection of records and residences; and, indemnification.

E.                  The applicant understands that it does not become an EarthCraft House builder simply by submitting this application and the required fees. The applicant further understands that the applicant must be reviewed by the Greater Atlanta HBA and that a Principal of the applicant must attend a training session and pass an exam before the applicant will receive a builder certificate. Prior to receiving a builder certificate, the applicant agrees that it will not represent itself as being an EarthCraft House builder, issue any EarthCraft House certificates or otherwise make use of the Mark or Slogan.

F.                  The undersigned is a: Principal of the applicant, as that term is defined in the Policies and Procedures; has completed the application on behalf of the applicant; and is authorized by the applicant to complete and sign the application.

   The undersigned Principal of the applicant makes the following representatives and agreements on oath with the express understanding that they will be relied upon by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association in considering this application for membership in the Program:
