Canine Design Policies

Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. We appreciate your dog having a potty break before their appointment and being on a leash during check in.

If you are unable to keep your appointment please contact us as soon as possible, there is a $25 fee per dog for no shows or cancelations with less than 24 hours notice.

Pre-booking your next appointment during check out is encouraged. Booking ahead will ensure that you get an appointment that is convenient for you and your dog. For most pets, a 4-6 week schedule is recommended. High maintenance styles may require more frequent visits to prevent matting.

Any dog showing signs of illness, infections, pain, parasites, wounds, or any other undiagnosed health issues must be treated and cleared by your vet before they can be groomed.

Puppies are welcome but they must be current on puppy vaccines (DHPP). Please wait at least three days after vaccinations before bringing any dog in for grooming so they have time to heal from any soreness or side effects.

Senior dogs, dogs with significant health conditions, or dogs with a low tolerance for grooming will be groomed in low maintenance trims, with comfort and cleanliness being the priority. In extreme cases they may be sent home unfinished if the grooming process jeopardizes their safety.

Pricing is based on each dog's size, coat condition, and temperament. Estimates can be given by request but prices are not final until after the groom is complete.
