Hello,
the problem isn´t fixed. Sad

When I put a Text-Field in the Form like this german sentence:
1. Was verstehen bzw. bedeutet für Dich im Allgemeinen "Kommunikation"?

in the Source code it looks like that:
1. Was verstehen bzw. bedeutet für Dich im Allgemeinen „Kommunikation“?

It is possible to fixed this little bug?

Thanks a lot

hello / slm

i have just discovered this site.... fantastic... müthiş ! Thanks a lot offering this possibility.. that was a big gap for us non-professionals..

my problem is that i can't get turkish letters when i download my results (as xls / cvs) while i get them, when i only look at them on web.
But when i take the results from web, instead of downloading, thru copy-paste into an excel-page then there is no problem. Can it be fixed?
Thanx in advance and wish you success..

Hi,

i have the same problems, too.
If I look at my reports at the jotform website, everything is fine. But in my e-mail notifications a "ä" becomes a "ü", a "ü" transforms to "ä".
Thanks a lot for your support.

Best regards,

Christoph

OK. Thanks for the comments. So, this is only happening on the emails and on the Excel reports. Please let me know if you find it somewhere else as well. We will have them fixed on the new version release.

Hey aytekin, congratulations to JotForm 2.0. It convinces me that much that I'm a premium user since today. But I'm a little bit confused: yesterday, on Wednesday, in my e-mail notifications "ä" "ö" and "ü" were "ä" "ö" and "ü". Everything was fine. But today, on thursday, "ä" "ö" and "ü" appear as "ä" "ö" and "ü" like in version 1.0. I would be very glad if you could fix that problem.
Please execuse my bad English.

Best regards from Germany,

Christoph

The problem should be fixed now.
Please test it again and let us know is there any problems?

Hi,

it's me again. Since today ä ö ü and ß are submitted again as "ä" "ö" and "ü".
Thanks for your support,

Christoph

glutz: is this happening on the form?

I am looking at the Kursanmeldung form page and I do not see any question marks. I am not too familiar with the characters in German, but we have fixed these problems by making everything UTF. So, that should also solve your problem. Can you describe me exactly where this problem happens?

Thanks.

hi aytekin,
the problems happens if the form is filled out and send. in the resulting mail there are no german umlaute like ä, ö, ü. you can see this in the report to the kursanmeldung form. umlaute are displayed as ?.
thanks
