  • Leadership Staff are required to work the full summer. All other staff must indicate the term they are available. Staff Training is May 30-June 12, 2010, and is required for all summer staff. We encourage first year staff who are still in high school to apply for half of the summer.
  • Please indicate any personal responsibilities or commitments that would affect your availability for camp, and dates that you could not work.
  • HIGH SCHOOL APPLICANTS: Senior High Camp is June 20-26, 2010. Please indicate whether you would like to attend or work. A limited number of high school staff are needed this week, therefore this is not guaranteed.
  • If you are hired for the 2010 Summer Staff, you will receive a bonus at the end of the summer when you fulfill your contract agreement.

Please do not use relatives or roommates. *If you have worked at Village Creek Bible Camp before, only one reference is necessary.

  • Applicant\'s Release

  • For the protection of Village Creek Bible Camp, for your protection, and for the safety of our children and youth, we request that you carefully read and sign the following:
  • PART ONE: (If under 18, to be completed by parent or guardian)
  • I hereby give permission for the applicant to participate in all activities at Village Creek Bible Camp, including, horse-back riding, high ropes challenge course, canoe trips, rock climbing trips, paintball, and all other sanctioned camper/staff activities.
  • PART TWO:
  • I grant permission for the Directors at Village Creek Bible Camp to conduct a background check of my record and references.
    I hereby release and hold harmless from all liability all persons, organizations, and other entities that provide references or information to Village Creek Bible Camp with regard to my background, fitness and character, provided they do so in good faith and without malice.
    I hereby hold harmless from liability Village Creek Bible Camp staff, board, employees and volunteers with regard to any decision that is made regarding my application. Should my application be accepted, I agree to be bound by the By-laws, policies, and Statement of Faith of this camp. Further, I agree to refrain from unscripted conduct in the performance of my services, public or private, on behalf of this camp.
    I hereby affirm and acknowledge, by signing below, that all of the information provided and all of my answers to the foregoing questions are true and complete, and that any misrepresentation or omission may be grounds for rejection or, if later employed, dismissal.
  • PART THREE:
  • Conditions of Application
    1. Staff are expected to subscribe to the camp’s doctrinal statement (this can be found at www.villagecreek.net).
    2. Staff are expected to conform willingly to the timetable throughout the day. Punctuality and cooperation are essential for the well being of the camp and for personal discipline.
    3. Staff are expected to maintain a clean and neat appearance. Moderation and modesty are required at all times regardless of the prevailing fashions in a permissive society.
    4. Staff may not wear jewelry in any body piercing on or off camp property, however women may wear earrings. Staff may not obtain body piercings or tattoos while an employee of Village Creek Bible Camp.
    5. The use of all forms of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and recreational drugs is not allowed while an employee of Village Creek Bible Camp.
    6. Staff are not permitted to bring firearms to camp.
    7. Additional rules and guidelines will be in effect during employment at Village Creek. These are fully explained and presented in the Staff Manual which each staff member will receive in their contract packet and is available to review on the website.
