General Information: The iGEM Program at Brown is based on the model of undergraduate-driven, faculty & graduate student advised research. iGEMers are required to take the Synthetic Biology class in the Spring Semester (Synthetic Biology in Theory and Practice) and will spend the summer at Brown doing research with the support of an UTRA Grant. Final Note: The Synthetic Biology Class next semester is BIO 1220 with Professor Gary Wessel! Even if you are not selected for the team, we strongly encourage you to take the class and learn about SynBio--it may also qualify you for next year's team.
