Allah (subhanahu wa ta'aala) related many stories to us in the Quran and commanded us to reflect on them because of the many lessons contained in them. One of the stories in the history of Islam is the story of Andalus. Muslims ought to study this story so that they can learn from the mistakes of the past, avoid repeating them, and instead repeat the great things that happened during that era. It is said, "History repeats itself," and thus this is a way to prepare for what is coming. This class will enable students to connect past to present, check the facts, learn about great leaders and prepare for the future.
